Mary Mildred Gamester

Peacefully, with all her family by her side, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown on Tuesday January 7, 2025 of Mary M. Gamester of Glen Valley aged 87 years.  Born in South Granville March 17, 1937 , daughter of the late Fred and Amanda (Bryanton) Chapell. Wife of the late  Byron Gamester. Mother of Melvin, Dale (Betty), Fay (Edgar) Baglole and Heather. Cherished grandmother  to Ashley Gamester.

Also left to mourn her passing are sisters Shirley (Donald) Graham;  Vera (Earl) McBride and sisters-in-law Thelma Gamester and Margaret Locke.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by sisters June (Murdock) MacKinnon, Muriel (Frankie) Saunders,  Alice (Johnny) Gamester, and brother Lorne Chappell.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 2-4 p.m.  Funeral Tuesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m.  Interment in the Breadalbane People’s Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the Cancer Society, Palliative Care or Central Trinity United Church.
