Beulah Jean Roberts

It is with broken hearts, we the family, announce the passing of Beulah Jean (Montgomery) Roberts on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Northside Community Guest Home in North Sydney, Cape Breton, surrounded by her family.  

Born in Summerside, PEI, on March 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Cuthbert and Margaret (Cousins) Montgomery.

Mom enjoyed the simple things in life – spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, going for a nice walk, shopping, playing card games, and listening to music.  She often had family over for dinner at her beautifully kept home.  Mom had fond memories of her time at the Marco Polo Land Campground where she hosted family and friends on various occasions.  Her final years were spent in Cape Breton close to her son where she enjoyed scenic drives, retirement living, phone calls, and visits from children, grand children, and extended family members.

Beulah is survived by her greatest love – her children; Susan (Vince), Sandra (Jim) and David (Denise); her grandchildren Danielle, Caitlin, Michael, Christina, James, and Jonathan; her great grandchildren Alister and Sophia. 

Besides her parents, Beulah was predeceased by her husband Alpheaus, her sisters Muriel (Leigh), Ruth (George), and Margaret (Lloyd), and her brothers Hodge (Carmen) and Sutherland (Marion).

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington from where visitation will be held on Monday, January 6^th, 2025, from 10:00-11:30 followed by a burial at Geddie Memorial Cemetery, PEI.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beulah’s memory to a charity of your choice.  www.davisonfh.com
