Emmett Murphy

1948-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of J. Emmett Murphy of Norboro, PE on Saturday December 14, 2024. Born January 18, 1948 to the late Albert and Mary Murphy.

Survived by his children Dawn (Brian) Kilgallon and Chris (Megan) Murphy. Grandson Caleb Kilgallon and sister Mae (Gary) Chapman, sister-in-law Audrey Murphy, brothers-in-law Earl O’Hanley and Gerard "Gerry" Perry. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his sisters Alberta (Carman) Smith, Eileen (Austin) Trainor, Anne Perry, Noreen O’Hanley and brother Louis Murphy.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for Visitation on Monday December 30^th, 2024, from 10 – 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the St. James Summerfield Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kensington and Area Food Bank.
