Wilber K. Lamont

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 of Wilber Kenneth Lamont of French River.  Wilber is survived by his daughter Bonnie Lamont of French River, grandchildren Dana, Brandon and Bradlee White of Florida as well as his seven great grandchildren.  He is survived by his partner Janet Haslam and her family, Scott, Tanya, Chantal and Jordan Haslam of Springfield.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Shirley Lamont of Calgary, Alberta as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his son Kim in 1980.  He was the last surviving member of the family of the late Donald and Gertrude (Clark) Lamont of French River.  He was predeceased by sisters and brothers: Bertha MacKay (Hollis), Helen MacLean (Stanley), Walter (Margaret), Fred and Louise Weeks (Gordon). 

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 15^th at the New London Community Complex between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.  Funeral service on Monday, December 16^th  in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. and will be available to view online.   Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook.  Memorial donations may be made to Geddie Memorial Trust or Grammy’s Gifts-(Please make cheques payable to Davison Funeral Home)
