John Bannerman Craig

Peacefully, surrounded by family, John Bannerman Craig passed at the Prince County Hospital on November 15,2024.  Born in Poplar Grove on November 5, 1931, son of the late Leigh and Marjorie Craig (Millar).

Husband of Arlene (Monkley).  Father of David (Helen), Donald (Cindy), Douglas (Nadia), Nancy and Lynne (Stephen) Townsend.  Loving Grandfather to Kimberly, Stephen, Daniel, William, Michael, Emily, Craig, and Hannah.

Survived by sisters Margaret MacArthur and Janelle Moore along with his sister in law Norma Ramsay.

He was also part of a large extended family with numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by siblings Millar Craig and Blanche MacLeod, brothers in law Cecil MacLeod, Kenneth MacLeod, Roger MacArthur, Elmer Ramsay and Errol Moore.

He was also predeceased by sister in law Catherine (Monkley) Grant and brothers in law Frank McCully, Ronald Leard, Willis MacLean and Allison Noye.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington.  Visitation on Monday at the Trinity United Church Summerside from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon followed immediately by the funeral service.  The service will be available to view online later in the day.  Interment in the Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception in the church hall after the burial. If so desired, donations may be made to the PCH foundation or a charity of your choice. If so desired, donations may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
