Clarence W. "Clare" Oates

At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Sunday October 6, 2024 of Clarence W. "Clare " Oates of Summerside aged 74 years. Born in Carbonear, NFLD , September 19, 1950 son of the late  Maxwell and Julie (Clark) Oates. Husband of Judy (Schurman) Oates. Father of  Trudy (Mike) MacIsaac and Leona Oates (Mike Lozo).   Grandfather of Mason MacIsaac.

Sister of Marina Harris (Herman-deceased), Genevieve (Baden) Hiscock, Beulah Newell (Ray – deceased), Maxwell (Christine), Hubert (Beverly), Sandra Mercer (Randell), Ruth Oates (Wayne-deceased), Eric (Marilyn), Barry (Elizabeth), Terry, Craig Oates-Brookings (Bruce), Yvonne-deceased (Richard-deceased).   Brother-in-law of  Myra (Bill) MacLean.  Uncle of Tammy MacLean (Nelson Cornell), Shawn MacDonald, Michelle (Trevor MacLean-deceased),  as well as several nieces and nephews in Newfoundland. Predeceased by sister-in-law Faye Schurman Darrach  and father-in-law and mother in law Donald and Martha Schurman.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation by personal request.
