Chester Gallant

The death occurred peacefully at the Clinton View Lodge Clinton on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 of Chester Gallant of New Annan aged 93 years.  Born in Summerside, April 18, 1931 son of the late Solomon and Mary Jane Gallant.  Predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years Miriam M. (Manderson) Gallant.

Loving father to Peter (Florence) of New London, Brenda (Kenny) Gaudet of Wilmot Valley, Luke (Karen) of New Annan, Mark (Denise) of New Annan, Paul (Farrley) of New Annan and Scott (Bonnie) of Richmond. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Brother of  Emily Murphy, Summerside, Doris Gallant, Charlottetown and Fred Gallant Summerside.

Predeceased by his great-grandson Parker and brothers Frankie and Wilbert, sisters Loretta Murphy and Florence Richard and brother James in infancy.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Friday from 9:30-10:20 a.m.  followed by the funeral in Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. which will be available to view online.  Interment to take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River.  If so desired memorial donations may be  made to The Cancer Society. www.davisonfh.com
