Doris J. (Dot) Toombs

The death occurred peacefully at Andrews of Stratford on Tuesday August 30^th , 2022 of  Doris Jane (Dot) Toombs, formerly of Kensington, P.E.I. aged 95 years. Born in Margate on August 21, 1927  daughter of the late Frederick and Lila (Whitehead) Henderson.  Wife of the late William P. (Bill) Toombs. Devoted mother of David (Terri Williams) and Jayne (Scott Stewart).  Adored by grandchildren William and Andrew Stewart. 

Sister-in-law of  Betty Madren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and special family friend Lori MacNeill.

Predeceased by infant son Dean, brothers John (Eunice) Henderson, George Henderson, Wallace Henderson, Duncan Henderson, Bill (Marion) Henderson and David (Donna) Henderson and her sister Enid (Allison) Bernard,  brothers-in law Linwood (Jean) Toombs and David Madren. 

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington. Visitation on Friday from 2:30 - 4:15 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 4:30 p.m. The service will be available to view online by following the link on the funeral home’s website.
