Born in Charlottetown, July 5th, 1937, daughter of the late Hartle and Alene (MacLean) Bowness. Wife of the late A. Lea Bell. Mother of Bruce (Donna) Bell and Marlene (Carl) Toombs. Grandmother of Erika (Blake) Morrisey, Morgan Bell, Blake Bell (Danielle), Benjamin Heaney (Kaitlyn), Daniel Heaney and Emily Heaney. Step-grandmother of Josh (Courtney) Toombs and Daniel Toombs. Great-grandmother of Alyannah and Cameryn Morrisey, William, Lea, Carl and Samuel Heaney and Freya Toombs.
Sister of Sterling Bowness. Sister-in-law of Laura (Bill) Pidgeon and Kenneth (Rhonda) Carr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Jean (Linwood) Toombs and Alexie (Harry) Mutch and brother Wayne Bowness.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Due to Covid 19 restirctions, no public visitation may be held. A private funeral will be held. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook. If so desired contributions may be made to the Geddie Memorial Cemetery Spring Brook.
