Helen Ruth Dennis Elliott

At the Grand View Manor, Berwick Nova Scotia on Tuesday January 18, 2022 of Helen Ruth Dennis Elliott formerly of Margate aged 90 years.  Born in Sherbrooke, PEI March 3, 1931 daughter of the late Freeman and Helen (Waugh) Simmons.  Wife of Rev. Waldo Elliott and the late Reginald Dennis.

Step mother of  Jocelyn (Dale) Robinson,  Ronald (Marcia) Elliott, Andrew (Sandy) Elliott and Tim (Lisa) Elliott. Step grand mother of Christopher, Erin, Sarah, Matthew, Adam, Eilish, Sam, Hamilton, and Lila, and 7 Great Grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy (Orville) Cann and Freeman (Joyce) Simmons.

Predeceased by her sister Hazel (Robert) Neill and brother-in-law Charles (Edna) Dennis.

After Helen married Waldo she moved to Centreville, NS, she became a member of Centreville Baptist Church enjoyed fellowship there with many new people she met. She was very busy donating to many different charities that gave her lots of joy knowing she was able to help others out in their time of need.  She was loved by all of her family and friends and as a resident at Grandview Manor in Berwick, NS, she regularly played hymns on her organ for the other residents. Helen also loved her cats Ally and Bella and gave them much love and food. She will be very much missed.

Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington.  The public funeral service will be held on  1 p.m. on Wednesday May the 4th in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel and will also be available to view online.  Interment in the Margate Cemetery.  If so desired contributions may be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
